Our concept cars feature forward-thinking technologies that will change the future of mobility. We learn, grow and experiment, anticipating the wishes and changing values of our customers and society as a whole. Examples of this smart technology are the Lexus Hybrid Drive (2005), LED headlights (2007), Active Pedestrian Detection System (2013) and Advanced Pre-Collision System (2017), without exception features that we first introduced on one of our concept cars. Lexus now has the ambition to further transform the character of luxury cars for the future. We want to take driving pleasure to the next level through our vision of zero-emission mobility: Lexus Electrified. This is crucial for our full transition to alternative powertrains in 2035. After all, technology is at its best when it is authentic and human.
